Description:

his project was the construction of a 415,000 SF soilcement-bentonite cutoff wall.

The cutoff wall, with an average unconfined compressive strength of 100 psi, protects the stability of the Colusa levee by providing isolation of water seepage from the Sacramento River.

It included the excavation of an existing levee and replacing it with suitable material, construction of a clay cap and the relocation of underground utilities.
