Description:
This project consisted of bank protection, stabilization, and mitigation of 1,600 LF of levee along the left bank of the Sacramento River. All of the work was completed from the water side.
The stabilization and bank protection portion of the work involved clearing lager and dense trees and vegetation, as well as removing large amounts of concrete rubble that had been broken up in place.
Approximately 80,000 tons of rocks were placed, 27,000 yards of embankment fill was placed and over 15,000 yards of material was excavated.
