Description:
The project was for emergency repair of 3 critical erosion sites along Sacramento River at River Miles 26.9L, 34.5R and 72.2R. Construction consisted of marine based placement of over 225,000 tons of quarry stone, soil filled quarry stone, and soil cover. Onsite mitigation included the installation of 15,000 native plants, 240 in steam woody material and 220 willow fascine bundles.
Duration of the contract and quantity of materials required material placement operations to work 24 hours a day 7 day a week to complete the project on time.
